The Alcan: The Kenai Peninsula

The Kenai Peninsula, south of Anchorage, is Alaska's playground. Towering mountains, racing rivers, thundering glaciers, combat fishing, hiking and hunting galore. During the summer months, there are probably more tourists than mosquitos here. After Labor Day (when we were here) things die down. Alicia and I journeyed down to Seward, our departure point for a cruise into the Kenai Fjords National Park. We then went overland to Homer and finally back up to Hope. Wonderful weather. God's own country; as some might say.
