Dawson City, Yukon
Dawson City is the northern reach of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898. It is a bit south of the Arctic Circle in the northern Yukon Terroritories of Canada. This was the destination of all those mushing dogs and frost-bitten men and in many of the stories of Jack London. Dawson is wonderful. It has been turned into a historic townsite by Parks Canada with over 40 preserved buildings. Charming, historic, and delightful.
