On June 7-13, 2009 Alicia and JC climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.  We took the longer Machame (aka “Whiskey”) route.  Machame cuts beneath the southwestern face of the mountain going through a number of climates and allows more days for acclimatization.  We camped along the way with our 10 guides/cooks/porters.  We summited the 19300ft of Mt Kilimanjaro the morning of June 12.
