JC and Alicia traveled to Dubai en route to Tanzania in June 2009. Dubai is an amazing mixture of old and new. The old city is divided by an inlet called The Creek. It is here where the Gold Souk, the Spice Souk, and the old forts reside. Outside the old city the new spires arise. Incredible architecture and man-made islands abound.
